BOTA in Sydney has been meeting as a study group since 1993. In 2005 we were granted the privilege of being able to undertake Pronaos ritual work for initiated members in addition to continuing with our regular open meetings.
From the foundation meetings of this group, it has been the intention to grow toward knowledge and understanding in fraternity and goodwill. To this end, on the first Tuesday of the month, we participate in the Qabalistic service which involves amongst devotional and healing work, the chanting of Divine and Angelic names. A major focus of the Service is a recorded lecture by the late Dr Ann Davies. These lectures present timeless principles on the themes of Tarot and Qabalah, and have been preserved for posterity by the present day custodians of the Work. We are indeed fortunate to have these talks available for group work. On the 3rd Tuesday of the month initiated members may attend the healing Pronaos.
BOTA Sydney meets in a centrally located venue in the city and is handy to public transport, with Town Hall and Museum stations nearby. All members, friends and those interested in this Path of Return are sincerely welcome to attend. Those members who have completed the Seven Steps lesson course may apply to the Warden for admission to Pronaos.
